My Baby is Walking!

Yes, that is right. At just under 11 months old, Mason has found his legs and now knows how to use them. He has been "cruising" for a couple months now but just in the last couple days, he has been taking more and more steps every day. Today, he has shown us that he prefers to walk instead of crawling. He will walk and when he falls down he crawls over to the closest thing that he can pull up on and he is off and walking again. It is so amazing how fast he has gotten it down in the past couple of days. Last weekend when we were visiting Nana and Glenn, they tried everything to get him to take more than a couple of steps. He didn't seem to be interested in walking at all. Monday was a different story. He started taking a few more steps each time. By today, Saturday, July 3 he is walking everywhere. While I am excited that he has reached this wonderful milestone, I am also quite sad that it is just another reminder that my baby is growing up too quickly.
